What battery a Bentley takes
The Continental family and the Mulsanne use a two-battery system in the boot: one battery dedicated to starting the engine and one for the rest of the electrics, linked by a control unit that separates and joins them as needed. Both are large AGM batteries and both are watched by the energy management. The Bentayga runs a 12 volt AGM system, joined by a 48 volt system for the active anti-roll bars on cars so equipped. These cars have a high standby draw, which is why Bentley supplies a battery conditioner with them.
