Which Solite does a Kia Sportage or Hyundai Tucson take?
It depends on the engine and year. Models without start-stop take a CMF battery, while newer ones with idle stop-and-go need EFB or AGM. We read the size and type from the old battery's label or check it by VIN.
What does the green eye on a Solite battery mean?
Green means the cell under the indicator has a healthy state of charge. Dark usually means it needs charging and clear means the electrolyte is low. It only reads one of six cells, so we rely on a proper tester instead.
Solite or Amaron for a Toyota Camry?
Either works. Both are sealed flooded batteries in the JIS size the Camry uses, and their service life in the UAE is similar. We suggest whichever is available in the exact size with the terminals the right way round.
