What battery a Honda takes
Most Hondas use a compact flooded battery under the bonnet, and the four-cylinder cars in particular have smaller batteries than rivals of the same size. Newer turbo models with idle stop, such as recent Accord and CR-V versions, need an EFB or AGM battery. Many models from the last decade have a battery sensor on the negative terminal that helps the car control alternator output.
