Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you use this website or book a service from Khalifa City Battery. By asking us to attend your vehicle you agree to them.

Last updated:

1. Our services

We provide mobile car battery replacement, jump start and battery testing at the customer's location in Khalifa City and nearby areas of Abu Dhabi. Other car services listed on this website, such as recovery, air conditioning, mechanical and body work, may be carried out by partner workshops and operators that we arrange on your behalf.

2. Quotes and prices

Prices depend on the vehicle, the battery type and the brand, so they are not published on this website. You receive the full price by phone or WhatsApp before a technician is dispatched. If the technician finds that a different battery or extra work is needed, you are told the revised price and nothing is done without your agreement.

3. Arrival times

Arrival times such as 20-35 minutes are typical estimates for Khalifa City in normal conditions. They are not guarantees. Traffic, weather, access restrictions and demand can make a visit take longer, and we will keep you informed if so.

4. Testing and advice

We test the battery and charging system before recommending a replacement. Test results reflect the condition at the time of testing. A vehicle may have other faults, such as a failing alternator or a parasitic drain, that need separate repair.

5. Warranty

New batteries are supplied with a warranty of upto 24 months. The exact period depends on the brand and battery model and is written on your invoice.

  • The warranty covers manufacturing defects in the battery.
  • It does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, incorrect charging, a faulty vehicle charging system, modifications, or a battery discharged by lights or accessories left on.
  • Please keep the invoice. A warranty claim needs the invoice and the battery fitted to the same vehicle.
  • A battery replaced under warranty is covered for the remainder of the original period.

6. Payment

Payment is due when the work is completed. We accept cash, credit and debit cards, and instalment payments through Tabby and Tamara. Instalment plans are provided by those companies under their own terms, eligibility checks and fees.

7. Cancellations

You can cancel free of charge before the technician sets off. If you cancel after dispatch, or the vehicle cannot be accessed when we arrive, a call-out fee may apply. You will be told the fee when you book.

8. Old batteries

Unless you ask to keep it, the old battery is taken away and sent for recycling at no cost to you.

9. Your responsibilities

Please give accurate vehicle and location details, make sure the vehicle can be reached safely and legally, and tell us about any modifications to the electrical system. You confirm that you own the vehicle or have the owner's permission.

10. Brand names

Khalifa City Battery is an independent service. Vehicle and battery brand names, logos and trademarks that appear on this website belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility and the products we supply. We are not an authorised dealer, agent or representative of any vehicle manufacturer unless stated.

11. Liability

We carry out work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for faults that existed before our visit and were not caused by our work. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under UAE consumer protection law.

12. Website content

The guides and battery information on this website are general advice. Battery sizes and types vary by model year and market, so the correct battery is always confirmed against your vehicle.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and its courts have jurisdiction.
